Ti-Bou veut prêter main forte aux créatures qui vivent dans la forêt, mais elles ont toutes peur de lui parce qu’il est un hibou! Être méchant et effrayant n’est pas dans sa nature, mais un hibou est un hibou et Ti-Bou n’y peut rien. Quand il sauve Vermi de la noyade, sa vie commence à changer. Vermi n’a plus peur de lui; il lui est reconnaissant et en plus, il a besoin de son aide pour retrouver son chemin et rentrer à la maison! L’amitié naissante entre Vermi et Ti-Bou servira d’exemple aux autres animaux de la forêt qui ne tarderont pas à apprécier Ti-Bou eux-aussi.
